Medicaid families are welcome at Prime Time Pediatrics—the only pediatric urgent care center near Athens and Oconee, designed just for kids from birth through age 19. We are in-network with Georgia Medicaid managed-care programs such as Amerigroup, CareSource, and most traditional Medicaid plans. Simply bring a valid Georgia Medicaid card and a parent’s photo ID when you register through our Fast Pass portal, and our billing team will confirm eligibility before the visit.

If your child is assigned to a different managed-care company, call us at (706) 705-4543. We can quickly check whether your specific plan lists our practice. There is usually no co-pay if your child has a Georgia Medicaid plan. You still get board-certified pediatric expertise, kid-friendly exam rooms, on-site rapid strep, flu, and viral testing, and extended evening and Saturday hours without an appointment.
