Can pediatric urgent care help if my child has a sprained wrist or sprained ankle?
We check range of motion, safeguard nearby growth plates, and, when an X-ray is advisable, arrange imaging at a partnering radiology center, then call you promptly with results.
Most mild or moderate sprains can be treated right in our clinic. We apply kid-sized ACE wraps or waterproof splints, demonstrate the R.I.C.E. routine (rest, ice, compression, elevation), and give written instructions for pain relief and safe activity. For student athletes, we include return-to-play forms schools accept. If we suspect a fracture, torn ligament, or need for physical therapy, we can help set up referrals before you leave.
Just call (706) 705-4543 or register online with Fast Pass to save wait time. We accept most major insurance plans and offer prompt-pay discounts for self-pay families.
