Megan E. Redfern

Dr. Redfern earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida in 2006 and then her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in 2010, where she also met her husband. She completed her pediatric residency in 2013 at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. She was an attending physician for MUSC Children’s Health After Hours Care for 12 years and then moved to Athens, GA in 2025 to be closer to family.  

 

Dr. Redfern is board certified in pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. 

She and her husband have a daughter and they enjoy spending time in nature, gardening, hiking and backpacking.
